Composition of the institute

The GIMI brings together multidisciplinary teams: oncologists, geneticists, genetic counselors, biologists, bioinformaticians, pediatricians, organ specialists, health economists, philosophers and ethics specialists.

The GIMI brings together 3 local medico-scientific teams, which are leaders in the genomics of rare disease and cancer at the national and international level, and in the development of new immunotherapies:

  • FHU TRANSLAD - in collaboration with the GAD team (Genetics of Development Anomalies), headed by Pr. Laurence Olivier-Faivre, within UMR 1231.

  • The integrated Center for Personalized Medicine in Oncology - headed by Pr. François Ghiringhelli, in association with the CADIR team (Cancer and Adaptive Immune response: Pr François Ghiringhelli) and the ERC team led by Dr. Lionel Apetoh, within UMR 1231.

  • The ImmunoMolecular Therapy for Cancers (TIM-C) team within UMR 1098, led by Pr. Olivier Adotevi and Pr. Christophe Borg, in association with the clinical research unit CIC-BT1431 (head: Pr. Olivier Adotevi).

The member teams of the GIMI could be evolve depending on future recruitments in the field of genomics in rare diseases breast cancer in healthcare establishments of Burgundy Franche-Comté, the UB, the UFC and INSERM.

The GIMI also relies on the multidisciplinary expertise of its many partners with recognized and complementary know-how.
